Mr. Stoddart has used two of New Zealand’s most famous champion bulls in the half-brothers, Longbeach General Botha and Longbeach Big King, both of which were sold for export nt big prices. The first daughter of Big King tested gave 7001 b. fat as a junior two-year-old, average test 4.4 per cent. Mr. Overton’s herd sire, Longbeach Motherland Champion King, is undoubtedly one of the very best bulls bred by Mr. John Grigg, and the young stock by him are a splendid line. His dams on both sides have given over 1001 b. milk per day, and the average test of his dam for the full year was 4 per cent. A former herd sire was from a dam with a record of 9031 b. fat.
