TRAINING COLLEGE STUDENTS
« CHRISTCHURCH WINS TOURNEY. By Telegraph—Press -Association. Christchurch, May 9. The inter-Training College tournament was continued to-day. The ladies’ hockey match was won by Wellington bv two goals to nil. Canterbury won the tennis tourney, the final result being: Canterbury, 9 matches, 15 sets, 156 games; Wellington. 7 matches. 19 sets, 136 games. _ The basket ball match resulted in a win for Canterbury by 32 points to 8.
The football match wag won by Christchurch by 22 points to 11. Christchurch Training College won the tournament. The swimming is to be decided in the morning, but the result will not affect the issue, as Christchurch has 8 points and Wellington 4.
