When a coloured man, Christopher Martis, was called in the Supremo Court yesterday to stand trial with Francis Osman’Burke on two charges of theft from the person, alleged to have been committed in December last, prisoner did not appear As it was stated that the man, who disappeared sonw months ago and was behoved to be in Australia, had not been re-arrested, the Chief Justice (S>’r Robert Stout) made an order estreating the bail oT £lOO advanced by the man’s brother, Henry Thomas Martis.
