London, May 7. The Associated Australian Banks, from to-morrow, are raising the selling rates on Australian drafts and mail transfeis to 425. 6d. per cent, premium ; and on cable transfers to 50s. The rate for purchasing documentary bills on Australia is reduced to par for sight, Ils. 3d. discount at thirty days. 225. 6d. at sixty days, and 355. at ninety days.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
