MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED
TWO ARRESTS ON CHARGE OF ASSAULT. (Rcc. May 8, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, May 8. Frederick Stephen Wells, a farmer, was admitted to tho Goulburn Hospital in a critical condition, suffering from injuries to his head, alleged to have been inflicted with a tomahawk and an iron bar. The details of the case are meagre.
A man named Clement Robert Larkham, aged 26 years, and a girl, Mercy Hockey, aged 16 years, have been arrested and charged with assaulting Veils. They ware remanded. —Press Assn.
