After numerous delays, the Nelson Progress League has now been_properlv constituted and tho following officers have been elected: President, Mr W. J. Moffatt; vice-president, Mr' A. Gould: secretary, Mr. E. R. Neale; executive committee Messrs. HO Everett, J. Corder. IT. R. Duncan 1’ Best. A. Gilbert, J- A. McGlashen, W. Lock, J. A. Mitchell, F. C Page, and Dr. Gihbs. It was resolved to make an exhibit at the Wellington Winter Show, and a committee was set up to select exhibits. The Hnrbo’ur Board yestm-day decided to make a contril ution of £5O to the ei 'fhe° Hosnitnl Board has divided to wr ito off £1412 in fees. The amounts extend over a good many years.
