FARMERS’ SHOOTING COMPETITION
LINKWATER WINS C.A.C. SHIELD.
The annual shooting competition under the auspices of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, for the challenge shield donated by the Colonia’ Ammunition Company, took place last week, attracting 23 teams. Of this number 17 sent in score sheets. Auckland. Poverty Bay, Taranaki. Manawatu, Nelson, North Otago, and Southland did not enter teams, and the official report of the result of the competition "lomments upon this as unsatisfactory.
