STEAMER HELD UP

KOORINGA RENDERED IDLE. Sydney, May 7. The steamer Kooringa, belonging to the Mcllwraith, McEacharn Line, has been rendered idle at Melbourne as a result of the action of the Seamen’s Union refusing to man the ship. When the Komura, of the same line, reaches her home port, Melbourne, she also will be laid up, as there is trouble aboard owing to a dispute over a minor injury to a fireman. Fears concerning the Hobson’s Bay proved groundless, as the vessel signed on a new crew without difficulty .--Press Assn.
