Tt was arranged that a concert would be given by the ship’s company of the Hood, and Saturday next was set aside for that event by the Entertainment Committee. Now it seems that some of the concert talent is away with the light cruisers in the south, so that the concert will lx? abandoned. It is believed, however, that there is a complete pantomime company on the Repulse, who will appear on Friday evening.
Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick I'ield, K.C.8., C.M.G.. has arranged a special day’ when the adult members of the Navy League and members of the girls’ branch of the Naw League may make a tour of inspection of H.M.S. Hood. The day arranged for is Thursday, May I, and by advertisement members are requested io meet punctually at 10 a.m. and in large numbers.
