McDevitt, the Australian sculler, accompanied by Ceuriti, . liis trainer, have arrived at Dargaville and are training dailv on the V airoa River for the Australasian championship, to be rowed here at tho end of May or early in June. Both scullers are particularly pleased with the river, and state that there is no better championship course in Australia or New Zealand.
