About one-fourth is dairying and cropping land, and the remainder foothills suited to cattle and sheep. The property is well fenced and divided into eleven paddocks, in each of which there is a permanent supply of good water. Forty acres have been stumped and ploughed, of which six acres are now in oats. The buildings include <a good six-roomed dwelling, cowshed (concreted), and necessary outbuildings, high-pressure water being laid on to the house and the cowshed. The situation id 11 miles from the school and 21 miles from the Dalefield railway station and dairy factory. The telephone is connected, and there is a daily mail delivery.
