Delhi, April 25. Great interest has been aroused among gem merchants at the reported discovery in Ceylon of a sapphire weighing half a pound. As its size precludes a ready sale, it is suggested that it be cut into sections of sixteen carats. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [A remarkable find of sapphires was reported from Pelmudulla, fifty miles from Colombo, recenty.
