SICK PAY
FOR SECONDARY AND TECHNICAL TEACHERS. i The sick pay regulations for secondary and technical school teachers, which were gazetted on Thursday, provide one week on full pay for three months’ service; under six months, two week’s pay; under nine months, one jnonth’s pav; under five years, one month on full pay and one month on half-pay; under ten years, two months on full pay and two on half-pay; under fifteen years, three months on full pay and two months on half-pay; under twentyfive years, four months on full pay and four months on half-pay; under thirty-five years, five months on full pay and live months on half-pay; over thirty-five years, six months on full pay and six months on half-pay. The only exceptions will be where a teacher is suffering from accident or illness directly traceable to the discharge of his duties. No teacher absent, over three months will he allowed to resume duty' without a medical certificate of good health.
