Get a bucket full of water, and scrubbing brushes—one. A sheet or two of emery, a brush of camel hair, A tin of famous “ROBBIAXAC,” and a little bit of care. Then seize your cycle by the horns and lead it to the yard. And having turned it upside down, proceed to scrub it hard. Removing all the oil and grease, and swilling oft the mire, ; And any other substance that is kicked up by the tyre. i Take the wheels oft, take the chain off, the brakes and mudguards toe, Take the sprocket off, the handle bars, and both the pedals, do; But do not take your Jacket oft—the overalls, I mean. You still have dirty work to do, and they will keep.you clean. : Now get a blunted knife and scrape the frame quite clean and bare, Of all the old enamel which is still adhering there, Then take a sheet of emery and rub with all your might. Till all the rust has vanished, and the frame is silver bright. And now the dirty work Is done, go to your wife and tell her. She’s sure to say, “It’s cold out there—pray go Into the cellar, To get two hooks and screw them in the rafters overhead, Be sure you do not screw them In the water pipe Instead. Sling up the frame, take up your brush, and starting at the crown, Apply enamel thinly, working gently up and down; You may suit your taste for colour —Red, Yellow, Green, or Black, But the one and only brand will do, and that is “KOBBIAI/AO.
