I.O.G.T. GRAND LODGE

The International Order of Good Templars’ Grand Lodge continued its sessions on Thursday morning, Bro. T. H. Dalton, G.C.T., presiding. Reports of the state of the Order Committee were received and adopted. A number of excellent working suggestions were given by this committee, and a sister onered her services free of any expanse to Grand Lodge to work for the reopening of a lodge in Napier. The Grand Lodge executive appointed the following non-elective officers:—bis. Siddals, Grand Deputy Marshal. Wanganui ; Bro. G. Price. Grand Guard, Wellington; Bro. H. Gore, Grand Sentinel, Dunedin; Bro. Dickson Grand Messenger, Wangaui; Sis. Roberts, Grand Organist, Wellington. The agenda paper took u.p most of the afternoon session. The invitation of Dunedin District Lodge No. 1 to hold the next Grand I/idge session in Dunedin, was accepted with great enthusiasm The several standing committees were’ appointed. Votes of thanks were massed to the G.C.T.. to the Press, the deception Committee, and the chairman of Xt committee Bro. George Pnce. Tfeqnonses were made by Vt.c. i. Price Bro. Hilton, Dhmedin, Bro.. Gore, Diinedin Sis. Siddals. V anganui. Sis. Gemmell', Christchurch, Bro Andrews, Ashburton. Several members made monetary donations. to the Grand Lodge Tubilre Fund and uivenile funds, ine Grand” Lodge closed at. 5.30 p.m. after a most enthusiastic session.
