PRISONERS’ WITNESSES
By an Order-in-Council issued on Thursday, the regulations under the Justices of tho Peace Amendment .Act, 1912, relating to the defence of prisoners, have been amended, the effect of the’ alteration being that the expenses to be paid to witnesses shall be according to the scale in force for the payment of witnesses of the Crown.
