As on former occasions, there will bo a club established at the Town Hall for the use and pleasure of the sailors who belong to tho visiting warships during the time spent in Wellington. A committee of ladies, including Mesdames F. Dyer, Coates, Buckleton, Firth, L. Tripp, C. Richardson, and Pow, have ■ all ’arrangements in hand, and tickets of admission to all the functions will be issued to Wellington girls who desire to help make the visit a pleasure and a success. Mrs. Pow will lie in attendance at tho Mayoress's room at the Town Hall from two o’clock till four this afternoon, and from seven till eight o’clock in the evening to issue these tickets, without which no girls will be admitted to dances ,or other entertainments. This evening there will be u dance for the petty officers and men of tho warships, and another big dance on May 18. Informal entertainments have been arranged for the other evenings on which the club will be open —May 2,3, and 7.
