Sir R. H. Rhodes leaves Christchurch to-day and will be in Wellington on Thursday. Captain T. C. Fulton was a passenger to Wellington yesterday bv the Main Trunk express from Auckland. The Rev. J G. Smith returned to Wellinaton yesterday from Auckland. The death is announced of Mr. AV. H. Mander, for many years manager of the Motueka branch of the Bank of New Zea’and. Deceased had not been in good health for the last few months, and was on sick leave at the time of his death. Air. E. C. Adams, officer in charge of the Union Steam Ship Company’s overseas passenger department, Wellington branch, will leave Auckland on Mav 13 bv the R.M.S. Niagara, on a trip to Canada and the United States.
