The Putiki. which is duo at Wellington this evening for Westport to load coal for on tho Patent Slip for cleaning and painting. It is hoped to dispatch het this evening for Westport to load coal far the East Coast. CITY OF FLORENCE. Tho A. and A. Line chartered steam-vf City of Florence arrived in tho stream at 220 p.m. yesterday from Now York and Newport Nows, via I’anama and Auckland. The vessel is to berth this morning at the Taranaki Street Wharf to discharge case oil and general cargo. The local agents are the Federal Liao. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Spinner. Captain E. E. Manning, arrived at Auckland last Tuesday morning with a full cargo of motor-cars and general merchandise, loaded at Halifax and New London, About 900 tons of cargo, including 23 motor-cars, were discharged at Auckland. The remainder, including a farther largo number of motor-cars, is for Brisba.no. Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Tho Canadian Spinner cleared New London on March 6, and Balboa, on March 16. Fino weather was experienced on tho voyage, which was uneventful. She sailed on Thursday for Brisbane, in continuation of her voyage. THE PORT CAROLINE. The O. and D. liner Port Caroline (Captain T. A. Renauti arrived at Auckland from Bunbury at midnight on Wednesday with 3100 tons of hardwood to discharge at Auckland. It is four months since tho vessel loft Homo, having sailed from Liverpool on December 22 for New York, where she discharged general cargo and loaded for Australia,. Making the voyage from New York to Sydney in 34 days, the steamer arrived at tho Australian port on February 22 She discharged at Sydney. Melbourne, Adelaide, and Fremantle. and was then chartered to load jarrah at Bunbury.
