TRAFFIC OF LONDON

SIR GEORGE FENWICK’S IMPRESSIONS London, April 16. Sir George Fenwick, who recently arrived from the United States, is impressed by the vastness and potentialities of the Wembley Exhibition. He says he is moi a impressed by the traffic of London, which, although more congested than a few years ago, still moves easily, as compared with that of American cities. There arc only 14,000 people entering and leaving the Woolworth Building in New York daily, compared with 25.000 at anv Government office in Whitehall, and their handling was a tremendous eulogy of the brains and coolness of the London policeman. Nevertheless, London should watch New York’s method of introducing one-way traffic. —Sydney “Sun” Cable.
