The Ministers’ Association of Wellington are arranging for a big united evangelistic campaign in the city uuring tho month of June. They arc taking advantage of the visit to the Dominion of Gipsy Pat Smith, of Scotland, who is described as a young man of singular evangelistic gifts and attractive personality lie is not to be confused with Gipsy Smith, the older evangelist, to whom he is not related. He is an oificer of an Edinburgh Presbyterian Church, but his success as an evangelist has led to invitations for his services from all parts of tho world. He is now on his way across the Pacific, and is due in Auckland, v. here he will conduct a mission during tho whole of May. A largo representative committee has been formed from all the AVellington churches, of which tho Rev. F. E. Harry (president of the Ministers’ Association) is chairman, and the Bevs. Dr. Pinfold and J. S. Harrison joint secretaries. Messrs. W. D- and H. 0. 45 ills (N Z ) Ltd., have kindly donated 2000 Capstan cigarettes for free distribution amongst the crews of the visiting battleships.
