PHANTOM ROBBERS
BANDIT GANG’S SUCCESSFUL PLAN. New York, April 18. Robbers at Seattle telephoned to the police headquarters that a bank holdup was in progress in tho southern part of the city. While tho entire force turned out in pursuit of the phantom robbers, the real gang held up a bank miles away, and secured £2OOO. At Saint Paul, robbers snatched mail pouches from two messengers, and got off with £lO,OOO. The messengers were armed, but were, surprised and compelled io put their hands up.—Sydney “Sun” Cables. >
