<4 RECORD PROGRESS RECORDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, April 17. The annual report of the Harbour Board discloses record progress in all departments. Reccdpts totalled -£32,491, from which all expenditure was met, including interest on all loans. The accumulated credit balances were -£22,553. In tonnage ot cargo handled there is an increase of 7677 tons, the total handled being 159,100 tons. There is a considerable increase in the tonnage of vessels using the port, the returns indicating an increase of 171,876 tons, A feature of the year's work was the development of the port by overseas steamers.
