MONEY IN COAL
A CLOSING OPPORTUNITY. Investors who would share in the Morley Collieries project to develop 2400 coal-bearing acres of the Birchwood Estate, Southland, should not delay, for the issue will shortly' close. This is the coalfield of which in a report, Professor Park, of Otago University. estimates that in a proved area of 320 acres, there are .14.000,000 tons of hard, brown and pitch coals, and underlying the remaining acreage, a tonnage of many score millions.
