APPRECIATED IN CANADA. A short time ago the New Zealand branch of the Canadian Government Merchant Marine sent to their head office in Canada a set of photographs of beauty spots in the Dominion. News has come to hand that the photographs have been displayed in St. John, and have created a great amount of interest. "The views are characteristic views of the beauty spots of New Zealand, and are of interest in making better known in Canada the scenic advantages of a sister commonwealth,” _ commented one local paper in describing the -photographs.
