DOMINION’S LINK TO BE IN NORTH ISLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 20. A further communication relative to the offer of a. site on Alt. Pleasant for the Dominion high-power wireless station, to form o>ne of the series of Empire stations, has been received by the Morten Estate from tho Post-master-General. Air. Coates says: “It is regretted that the Aft. Pleasant site cannot be adopted. In the opinion of the technical advisers of this Department the proposed station should be situated in the North Island.”
