Dr. IT. Hnrdwick-Sinith and Sister Louise Brandon, A.R.R.C., have been appointed io tho Masseurs’ Registration Board. .Mr. .1. R. Kirk, of Gisborne, was yesterday nominated by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as one of the representatives of the education boards on tho New Zealand Council of Education. —Press Assn. Air. .1. Pickard, stationmaster at New Plymouth, has been notified of his transfer to AVellington to join tho staff of the district traffic manager. Mr. Pickard has bold his present position since October, 1922, when ho went to New Plymouth from AVellington. Before that (from July,. 1920.. to March, 1922) ho had been in New Plymouth as chief clerk in the goods, office. Mr. A. AV. Stevens, now chief' clerk in the goods office at Now Plymouth, will become stationmaster. The position ho vacates will bo filled by Mr. AV. H. Jarman, now in the goods office at AA’angauui.
