TRIAL 0I 7 CHURCH OFFICIALS WILD SCENES AT TIFLIS By Telegraph.-- Press Association. —COSYBIOHT. Moscow, Afareli 18. There were wild scenes at Tiflis, whore Archbishop Ambrosio and nine other priests of the Orthodox Church are on trial as counter-revolutionaries. Archbishop Ambrosio s chief offences were appealing at the Geneva Conference to the Powers to expel the Red Army from Georgia, and sequestrating chuncTt treasures. The Workmen’s Delegation demanded that the Court should impose the death sentence on these thieves of public property. The hearing was adjourned in consequence of the disturbances. —Aus.N.Z.
