WINTER SHOW

TO BE HELD IN JULY OFFICERS ELECTED A draft constitution of the 'Wellington Show Association has I een adopted by the Provincial Committee and formal arrangements made to carry out the winter show from July 5 to 12, inclusive. A letter was. received from the Industrial Association notifying that they would whole-heartedly co-operate to make the show a success, which offer was accepted with thanks.

It was decided to issue membership tickets admitting bearer and one lady to all shows. It would bo ma'essary to enrol 2TWO such members t<- assure the financial side, in addition to the donations and trophies which will be received. The educational value of the show will be one of the chief features, and will bring the townspeople more in tench with tho produce of tho country and the farming community. Tlie secretary informed the meeting that applications for space had already been received. General approval was expressed at the full attendance of country representatives. The show will be in three sections: (1) Tho Winter Show. (2) The Industrial Exhibition. (3) The Motor Show. The schedule will be ready in a few davs and available to applicants. It was decided that as far as space was available every suitable exhibit would be received.
