STRIKE AT CALCUTTA MILLS
9 ELEVEN THOUSAND OPERATIVES INVOLVED. (Roc. January 27, 5.5 p.m.) Delhi, January 26. An insignificant strike of Calcutta mill hands, originating a few days ago through the non-payment of a bonus at the Standard Mills, has now suddenly extended. Several mills have closed and about 11,000 operatives are involved. —Reuter.
