FALL FROM A CART
ACCIDENT AT TRENTHAM. Tho death of a widower named Richard Horne, 33 years of age, was inquired into by the Coroner (Mr. G. Riddell, S.M.). yesterday. Evidence was given_ that on Sunday deceased was driving from his home at Trentham to tho Hutt River to collect some goods there, and through the cart rolling into a rather deep hole in the road ho was thrown out. His head struck a stone, and his condition was such op the Monday that he was removed to'the hospital. At 5 p.m. the following ■ day he lost consciousness. He was - operated upon, but died at 8.30. The Coroner found in accordance with medical testimony that deceased died from a fractured skull, caused through his accidentally falling from a cart. The police at the inquiry were represented by Sergeant Duke. PLAYING AT NIGHT.
