A voungman named Percy Lewis Ward appeared before Mr, C . R. OrtWalker, S.AL, in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of obtaining a gallon of oil .and £6 4s. in monej" by means of a valueless cheque. He was remanded to appear at Levin on January 25.
