The Minister of Education (Hon. C. J. Parr) returned to Wellington yesterday. . The Minister of Mmes and Marine (Hon. G. J. Anderson) leaves tomorrow for Gisborne, Opotiki. and Tauranga, on harbour and mining matters. Tr , The Minister of Defence (Sir Heaton Rhodes) is expected to arrive in Wellington to-morrow. A London cablegram .reports the death of the Earl of Warwick, aged 71. The death of Mr. Symon Mynovc, - member of the 1905‘A1l Blacks’ Rugby team that toured England, was the subject of sympathetic reference at last night’s meeting of the Management Committoe of the New Zealand Rugby Union, which decided to forward a letter of condolence to the bereaved widow and family. Mr. F. E. Levy, of the Goldberg Advertising Agency Ltd., Wellington, has been appointed 'manager of the Auckland branch. Mr. Clyde Meynell, who has been a director of J. C. Williamson Ltd. for some vears, has (says a Sydney paper) sold hti interests in the company, and will take a trip to New Zealand. His retirement leaves tho. firm with two managing directors —Sir George Tallis and Mr. E. J- 1 ait.
