Henry Victor Crawford (21) who arrived as a stowaway by the steamer Dorset in April, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Adams to five years reformative treatment for extensive thefts from a farm where he was stable boy. Previously he had been convicted at Wellington for theft, and admitted to probation, and later was sentenced to two months imprisonrnent for a similar offence.
