FEAR OF BURIAL ALIVE
OLD MAN’S STRANGE WILL (Rec. December 2, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 1. Tho “Daily Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent states that Monsieur Vasquez, ageil 85, died and left a will containing a clause which startled his relatives. He instructed that his head should be severed completclv in the presence of those to whom lie left his fortune, and designated a doctor, who duly performed the operation. It appears that M. Vasquez once fell into a lethargic condition, and his relatives, thinking he was dead, began preparing' for his burial, when he showed evidence of life. After that the old man decided not to risk burial alive.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assn.
