At the annual meeting of the Now Zealand War Veterans’ Association reference was made to the death during tho year of Lieut.-Colonel Mclntosh and Colonel Foster Goring. A motion of sympathy with the relatives ivas carried. It was reported that tho membership at tho end of July last stood at 167. During the year, prior to that date. 25 members died. Major Lomax (Wanganui) was reelected vice-president, and Major Garner (Palmerston North) secretary and treasurer.
