WE notice that the Presbyterian General Assembly has calle,; upon the members of its Church to support the League of Nations Union, and to pray for it. The peace-loving brethren want old John Bull to continue the role of tho policeman of the world. To continue to keep the Dagoes, Austrians, Greeks, Poles, Bulgarians, Albanians, and Turks from cutting one another's throats, and when tho indemnity is to be paid to foot (he bill or lend tho money. We think we are as deeply impressed as any Presbyterian minister as to the dreadful perils of these times. The awful possibilities of German bombs blowing up some of our manses with their .£7OO a year, payable quarterly, and in advance, is too awful to contemplate. We believe in prayer, but it must be praying jn the Spirit. There is no warrant in the entire Word of God. for a nation like our own linking up with heathen nations in a vain endeavour to 1 preserve tho world's peace. It seems now that there will bo a League of Northern Nations, Germany, Russia, and perhaps a League od' ten Latin Nations. This appears to bo indicated in Scripture. How soon the next war will come it is impossible to say, but come it certainly will. Our

prayer is that wo may bo accounted worthy to escape these things end to stand before the Son of Man. CHIROPRACTORS. £( H IRUPRACTIC. OTTERHOLT. BRYCE, AND WRATT.
