CLOSED TO BOXING CONTESTS. By Telegbaph— Pnnss Association. Auckland, November 29. Tho Citv Council has decided to develop the'old market square site, containing four acres, as a civic square, with administrative building and art gallery. The council decided not to let the Town Hall for boxing contests in future on the grounds that damage to city property resulted, and that the general conduct of patrons was not nompatiblo with tho Hignity of the city’s chief meeting house.
