PRESS DEFEATS STAGE At Kelburn Park yesterday the Pres* defeated the Stage by 79 runs. Batting first the Stafte made 90, B. J.' Kortlang 30, Ell 15, Garry Marsh 12, being the double-figure scorers. Bowl-, ing for the Press H. Plimmer took four wickets for 1 run; Forde, three for 16; Hornblow. one for 17; Bedell, one for 20; and Freeman, none for 29.
