VOLAIRE DEFEATS STEWART SMITH.

Eugene Volaire defeated Stewart Smith at the Town Hal’ to-night in a professional light-weight contest for £l5O. fifiie towel came from Smith’ corner at the end of the thirteenth round. The contest was even for the first seven rounds, and then Volaire had the best of the encounter.
