The following is the draw for the first round of the Wellington Golf Club championship to be played next week-end:—A. It. Sclanders plays J. W. Ward. R. O. Chesney plays A. D. Morris. E. Page plays J. B. Parker, O. J. Wilson plays A. Duncan, P. B. Tooko plays J. fruncan, J. B. MacEwan plays E. H. Rawson, K. D. Duncan plays R. W. Kirkby, J. T. Tucker plays D. White. In the junior championship W. A. Bowring, a bye ; L. Hughes Steele plays R. Young, D. Bauchop plays D. M. Findlay, G. G. Callender plays W. Young, G. Tolhurst plays H. Morton, W. L. Rothenberg plavs C. F. MacFarlane, L. Whitcombe plays K. Douglas, H. D. Raphael, a bye. This week-end there will also ,be a men’s foursome competition for the Ranfurly Cup. Last year this event was wop by W. E. Reid and A. E. Whyte, all square with bogey.
