BIG CRICKET SCORES IN SYDNEY
LACK OF HIGH-CLASS BOAVLERS. Sydney, November 27. Consistent piling up of big scores since the opening of the cricket season has led to much Press comment on the lack of high-class bowlers in firstgrade cricket. The need for remedying this weakness is urged by the Press. Amongst the tall scores during tho week-end were those of the Gordon team, which compiled 528 for the loss of five wickets. Western Suburbs lost only two wickets for 405 runs, and Wa'vcrley replied to University’s score of 434 with 367 for the loss of four wickets.—Press Assn.
