NEW GUINEA MANDATE
REPORT OF ADMINISTRATOR. Melbourne, November 27. The Administrator of the mandated territory in New Guinea states that there are still about forty Germans in the territory, in addition to 270 German missionaries. There are indications that German propaganda is still active. The output of copra in the territory last year increased by over 7000 tens, and the introduction of direct shipment to Britain and Europe, with the consequent reduction in freights from £9 15s. per ton in 1921 to under'£3. lias greatly benefited industry.—Press Assn .
