BANK OF NEW ZEALAND SUBSCRIBES £5OO CAN NOMINATE 20 LIFE MEMBERS The Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association has received a letter from the general manager of the Bank of New Zealand. Mr. Bucklcton, stating . that the Board of Directors of the bank had decided to subscribe £5OO to the fund being raised by the association for the purpose of constructing tennis courts and a chib house at Miramar Park. This subscription gives to the bank the right to nominate twenty members of its staff (either male or female) with full playing rights and membership so long as the association has the lease and control of the grounds lhe bank has also the right to cancel any nomination or nominations and to appoint a substitute or substitutes. It was further stated that the amount would be paid to the associawhen it is in a position to carry out its scheme.
