ATHLETICS
.A feature of tho sports meeting under the auspices of the Wellington Centre. N.Z.A.A.A.. which is to take place at Newtown Park next Saturday, will bo the relay challenge race for the Heenan Baton, between teams representing the ’Varsity and Wellington Clubs. Wellington will be represented by R. Alorton (880). D. Paris (440), C. Jenkins and H. Wilson (220), while the ’Varsity team will probably be as follows:—-Griffin, Tracy. Leadbette.r, and Whitehead. Harry Wilson having reconsidered his decision to retire, sport lovers will welcome his reappearance in the 120 yards hurdle race and other events. Included in the programme is a 220 yards championship for B grade performers, this ©vent being a new feature.
