CROWDS OF PATIENTS IN DUNEDIN CURES AT PREPARATORY . SERVICES Bt Telegraph—Press Association, Dunedin, November 26. The Christian nealing mission to he conducted in the Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, of next week by Mr. J. M. Hickson has attracted such crowds of patients that the lists have lad to be closed, and it seems inevitable that a number of those desiring the v.inis-t’-ations of the missioner .-ill have to be shut out. As in other centres, many cases are now being reported here of jreople who nave benefited to a greater or less degree through having taken part i n the preparations for the mission. One who was suffering acutely from cancer is said to have been relieved from all suffering. Another pitient afflicted with deafness and ulcers has non' no ulcers, and finds bis hearing much improved. A little girl who was prayed for at preparatory services, and was thought to be. dying of bronchitis and pneumonia, is now reported to be unite out of danger. The Rev. W- llamblett, if St. Matthew’s Churcn, announced on Sunday that a man who had come to him practically stone blind with cataract returned "a week later with his sight so restored that he could walk easily without guidance, could read the time on his watch and could read large print. His hearing, which had been bad, had also been much improved. A young man who was suffering severely from epilepsy began attending the preparation services in August, and since tTTen has not had any seizure. Under the advice <f a chiropractor,, he had an X-ray photograph taken about that time, which revealed the fact that the vertebrae were out of adjustment. A similar photograph taken'a fortnight ago showed the position to be improved to the extent of two-thirds.

Cases of improvement in sight and hearing and other benefits received have been reported from Oamaru. Nearly 250 people suffering from all manner of sickness, disease, and disability are being prayed for regularly every day at the preparation services Iwing held in various Anglican churches.
