BOMB OUTRAGES
AT PHILADELPHIA CONSULATES ESCAPE OF ITALIAN AND SPANISH CONSULS By Telegraph—Press Association., Copyright. New York, November 25. It is reported from Philadelphia that bombs exploded at the Italian and Snanish Consulates. The police suspect foreign Radicals, and it is believed that the attacks were directed against the Consuls personally; but both escaped injury. Many people were hurled from their beds and wounded by (lying glass.
The Italian Consul-General found a box in the vestibule of the Consulate. He notified the police, believing that it was an innocent package which someone had left, and for which the owner would return. He took it inside, and then, in anticipation of the owner returning. placed it outside again. After he had retired their was a terrible explosion. and the entire front of tho house was blown out. As the result of the explosions, the police are guarding the homes of the Mayor, the Judges, and the chief city officials.—Sydney “Sun” Cable.
