HARDING’S ATTITUDE PRAISED
Washington, June 7.
President Harding, acknowledging a letter from Bishop T. F. Gailor. head of the National Council of the Protestant and Episcopal Church, in which the President was praised for his attitude towards the World’s Court, declared : “By accepting membership of the World Court the United States may make its largest feasible contribution to the stabilisation of civilisation while at tho same time surrendering nothing of the advantages of independence enjoyed by its people. — Aus.-N.Z.
