Dr. Wilson, superintendent of the Wellington Hospital Board, left Auckland on Wednesday evening for Vancouver on his mission to inspect the equipment of rhe latest and most up-to-date hospitals in Canada and, th® United States. He is expected to be away about four months.

Constable Audley is. to proceed from the Port Station, Nelson, to Napier, and the vacancy at Nelson will be filled by Constable Brydone, of Wellington. Constable Le Fevre, of Upper Hutt, is to change places with Constable Wallace, of Lyall Bay. Tho members of the Australian Davis Cup team. Messrs. J. O. Anderson, J. B. Hawkes, R. E. Schlesinger, and I D. Mclnnes. were passengers by tho Makura. en route for Hawaii, where they play the first round (American zone) of the Davis Cup contests. i
