Tho North Island Sheep Dog Championship meeting is still proceeding The second event, the championship short head and yarding competition, concluded this afternoon, and resulted: O. Dunlop’s (Wanganui) Lad, 56 points, 1; T. Leahey’s (Hawera) Spark, 55 W. V. Mclntyre, s CMJangatuna) Chief, 54, 3, L. B. Green’s (Ashliurst) W. Boss, 53, 4. The Championship Huntavray has not bepn completed. During the day a presentation was made to Mr. A. C. Morton the retiring chairman of the executive, after many year’s service. Several speakers referred to his splendid services in fathering the association.
